Amy Friedlander is senior vice president, Programming, for AT&T Project Lightspeed and oversees areas including interactive programming and convergence. Project Lightspeed is the initiative to expand the fiber-optics network deeper into neighborhoods to deliver AT&T U-verseSM TV, AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet, U-verse Enabled and, in the future, voice over IP services. AT&T expects to reach approximately 18 million households as part of initial deployment, using fiber-to-the-node and fiber-to-the-premises technologies. Preceding AT&T, Ms. Friedlander headed a strategic consulting practice, Xanthum Partners, which helped clients from around the globe with content strategy, negotiation and acquisition, and programming and packaging development.

Arturo Artom, one of Europe's most successful serial tech entrepreneurs, founded San Francisco-based Your Truman Show in October 2006 to build the largest online inventory of personal stories on video and enable anyone to watch, rate and review people lives. A leader in the technology and telecom industry since the early 90s, Artom is widely recognized as the "father" of telecom market liberalization in Europe. In 1993 he founded Telsystem, the first telecom carrier to successfully challenge SIP fixed-line monopoly in the Italian market. In the following years, Artom held a series of executive roles, first as Managing Director of Infostrada long-distance phone service, then as Senior Vice President of Omnitel/Vodafone, followed by the CEO role of Viasat, a leader in satellite positioning systems. In 2000, he founded Netsystem, the leading European broadband satellite ISP, which solved the digital-divide problem in many European areas. In 2004, Artom created Artom Innovazione, an early-stage venture capital fund focused on startups that marry innovations in technology and industrial design. Its most significant initiative is Muvis, the Italian company that created the first intelligent digital lighting system for the home. Alexander is currently responsible for Intel Capital's investments and strategies related to Digital Media and Consumer Internet. Prior to joining Intel Capital, Alexander served as technical advisor to the senior vice president of Intel's Interactive Media Services division where he advised on strategy and media investments. Alexander also served as controller for Intel's Content Services division where he oversaw financial aspects of the division, including numerous investments in Europe, Japan , Asia, and Latin America . Alexander joined Intel Corporation in 1994 where he held various management roles prior to joining Intel Capital.

Chris joined Granite Ventures in September 1998 from Hambrecht & Quist, where he was an analyst in the firm's Venture Capital department. Chris focuses on software investments. Chris serves on the Board of Directors for Arcot Systems, Entertainment Media Works, Managing Editor Software and Purisma. He is a Board observer for Convio, and Sendmail, and was previously involved with the Boards of Actional (acquired by Progress Software), Connected (acquired by Iron Mountain) and Cardiff (acquired by Verity). Chris holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Ms. Ringo has more than 20 years of hands-on experience as a senior operating executive and venture capitalist. Prior to joining VantagePoint, Ms. Ringo was CEO and subsequently Chairman of CopperCom where she built a five-person company into an industry leader in two new communications markets: voice-over-broadband and local exchange soft switch. Ms. Ringo was also SVP of Corporate Development and Business Units for Madge Networks, a $400 million international data networking company, and a founding executive of Red Brick Systems, a pioneer in data warehousing. Ms. Ringo began her career in high-tech as an intellectual property lawyer at Management Science America . She is a graduate of Georgia State University (BS) and Emory University Law School (JD).

Harshul Sanghi manages the Silicon Valley office of Motorola Ventures, based in Sunnyvale , California . Harshul's role includes identifying, executing, and managing strategic investments in startup companies that will drive the realization of Motorola's vision of Seamless Mobility. He is also responsible for managing the Venture group's investment activities in India. Harshul comes to Motorola through its acquisition of Ucentric Systems, a leading provider of Whole Home Media solutions, where he was responsible for worldwide sales and market development of the consumer electronics sector. Harshul has extensive experience in the digital media, consumer electronics, and semiconductor industries. In his previous role, Harshul served as General Manager of the satellite and terrestrial business team of Philips Electronic's North America.

He is also responsible for extending MDV's relationships with leading universities and research centers, including the California Institute of Technology, University of California Berkeley , and Stanford University .

Robert Yamashita

Robert Yamashita oversees Corporate Strategy and Alliances at THX Ltd, a company that defines and enforces quality across the digital media value chain, from creation to consumption. He is also Managing Director at Cogentic LLC, a technology strategy firm he co-founded after departing PwC in 2001. An executive in Digital Media for over 15 years, Robert helped DivX to first penetrate CE products; started the Pro-MPEG Forum and directed MPEG Business Alliances for Sony Electronics, and managed C-Cube Microsystems encoder business. Along with contributing to international standards and industry trade groups (SMPTE, IEEE, DVD Forum, G-SAM), Robert has a lengthy publication and speaking history in Digital Media business and technology. He is an honors graduate of Caltech (BS Engineering 1980), where he launched his first business as an audio consultant at age 19.
