VCDemo is an extension of iHollywood Forum's successful Digital Media Demo and Venture Forum at many of our events.
The goal is to allow promising emerging companies involved in digital content to present themselves and their products to venture capitalists, strategic investors and others at the forefront of digital media.
Presenting companies can involve any sector of digital media, including but not limited to online video, video-on-demand, downloadable and streaming music, content-oriented search engines, massively multi player games and enabling technologies.
Since we accommodate a range of young companies, we limit each presentation to no more than five minutes. Three or four judges present their opinions on each company, and the audience is polled electronically on whether the presenting company is worthy of funding or, in some cases, partnership.
We do NOT guarantee that companies will be funded. However, experience suggests that the numerous investors and venture capitalists in the audience take the judgments of the judges and attendees seriously.
For investors, VCDemo offers a chance for a macro view of leading young digital media companies in one place, in a single location.
